A question about possible pregnancy and breastfeeding

I'm not sure whether or not i'm pregnant, if I am, I'm still very early on. However i'm still nursing my one year old. When I got pregnant with her one of my very first pregnancy systems was very sore breasts, would they still get sore at the beginning of a pregnancy if I was already nursing?(their not sore now).

  • They could get sore still, but your nipples will be tougher, since you are nursing. Whether you decide to continue to nurse or not is up to you, but if it's not a problem, there's no reason to stop. Lots of women nurse through pregnancies. Your milk can change if you are pregnant, and your older baby may reject your milk, just an FYI. Unless you are high risk, nothing says you can't nurse through your pregnancy, and beyond.

  • It's totally safe to nurse throughout your pregnancy as long as you are well nourished and hydrated. there is a group on here to go to for advice and help.
