Are the series of Doctor Who and Torchwood appropriate for a tween?

  • I agree, I have seen the entire first season of the new Dr. Who on netflix. I would have no problem letting my kids watch that show. I have never seen torchwood so I have no idea on that. To give you an idea though, I don't let my kids watch the Simpsons, maybe when they are 15 or so I will be okay with that. I will not let them watch South Park ever! They will have to wait till they are adults to watch that. But I have no problem with Dr. Who.

  • I watched the new Dr Who with my 8 year old, she liked it but wasn't really into it. I can't recall anything offensive in it.

  • My daughter who just turned 7yrs old. Loves watching Dr.Who with mommy and daddy... She pays attention to it and asks questions and tries to follow it and understand it.

  • Dr. Who, absolutely. Go to your local library and see if they have the older ones on DVD. Tom Baker was my favorite Doctor.
