burned lip

my 8 month old burned her lip on food last night i feel bad i thought it felt cool enough i guess i was wrong :( :( and now sh has a puffy burn spot on her lip is their anything i can do for her??

  • ah poor thing....maybe a cool cloth just to help the pain...not sure if there's anyhting you can put on that would be safe.....be careful if you microwave food....HOt spots!

  • I agree with calliesmommie, if it is a bad enough burn to be swollen, call her doctor.

  • A tiny white blister.... I don't know. Maybe I wouldn't call if it were that small, only if the lip were swollen. I don't know what to advise about this. I suppose when in doubt, at least call and describe it and get a doctor's advice.
