Cracked, red lips?

My DS is almost 11 month and we have noticed that the corners of his mouth are cracked and red, almost blistered looking. He is transitioning from bottles to sippy cups, could this have anything to do with it? Thanks!

  • Cracks at the corners of the mouth is sometimes caused by a vitamin deficiency. You should check into this. Also, rule out impetigo.

  • I have had this happen to me before. I applied tee tree oil and it went away.

  • There is a product called baby kisses. It is the same company that makes butt paste. It works well on my daughter when her lips get a little dry.
