My 6 month old all of a sudden stopped eating solids. He was enjoying rice cereal and then one day just stopped. Since then I've tried carrots, bananas, and applesauce. He makes faces like it's gross! Any suggestions? (he's only breastfed, takes bottles when I'm at work)

  • Just offer but don't make a huge deal of it. He doesn't NEED the solids, he needs the breastmilk. If you don't make a big deal of it, he'll go back on his own.

  • Mash up tablefoods for him. You can mash up carrots, potatoes, peas, sweet potatoes, etc. Just add enough breastmilk or formula to have a texture that he can eat. Babyfood tastes nasty and that may be the issue.
