  • we dont have an air conditioner. the past 2 days we have had the furnace on in the evenings and overnight. it is currently 65 degrees out side and will be in the low 30's tonight

  • If it were 80 degrees out I'd have the windows open and all the ceiling fans on. 80 degrees would be great! The high today was around 97 or so. We have the temp set at 78 except from 6pm to midnight and then it's set at 80. That's because that is when my husband usually has his computer on and the sensor is right outside the computer room and his computer sheds sooo much heat that the a/c runs non stop otherwise.

  • I would have the windows open on a 80 degree day. I'm in FL, so we won't have any 80 degree days until Oct or Nov. I don't like to feel cold, so I keep the thermostat set at 78 degrees all the time. Anything lower is just too cold to me.

  • My thermostat is on 69-70 all year. It is about 100 degress right now and it is a little humid in the house but not anywhere near what it is outside.

  • Ours is on 80 all the time. tyfry...That is very cold, we have our heat on 65 in the winter, and even then I am freezing. Yes, 80 is a little on the warm side, but I would rather be a little warm and save some money.

  • Oh gosh, I'd melt at anything over 70! Mine is usally at 68.
