  • Between 8:30 and 9 p.m., figure in at least one time of her sneaking out of the bed to go use the bathroom again. She gets very moody if she doesn't get enough sleep.

  • During school my son who is 9 1/2 goes up at 8:30. During the summer by 9 and usually watches tv until 10. I know it is a bad habit.

  • 7:30, but he usually reads for an hour or so before he falls asleep. He gets up at 6:30 - 7:00.

  • 9:30.This is to allow for all the falling asleep time. She should go to bed earlier but it's hard to get a kid in bed when it's still daylight.

  • My 11yr old has been going to bed during summer and weekends at 10:30pm since she was 10 and when school is in session she's in bed by 9:30p and on weekends it's still 10:30pm. She's begging to stay up longer when school is back on but I've told her that 9:30 is pleanty late for someone who has to wake up at 6:30am.

  • My 9 1/2 year old goes to bed at 8:30 on school nights, but can stay up until 9 reading in his room if he chooses. He wakes up at 7 to catch the bus.

  • my 10 yr old goes up at 9 during the summer, and school year is 8, same goes for my 5 yr old (she's a night owl). he gets up at 6:30 or 7 and 6 during school. they want to stay up later, but i try to keep a routine and i also explain to them that mommy and daddy have quiet time in the evenings, and they're ok with that.

  • Mine is ready for bed by 7:00, in bed at 7:30 and hopefully asleep by 9 (after reading)

  • between 9 to 9:30, her school starts later, around 8:45, we live 1 mi from school so she doesn't get up until 8, so thats plenty of sleep.

  • In the summer, I'm pretty loose, it really depends on the day and what has been going on. On school nights, about nine with time for reading. She wakes up at 7:15 or so, which is fine for her.
