Dogs teeth

how can i get my dog teeth clean besides brushing them or bring him to the groomer? is there any food or product they can eat to help?

  • There are biscuits you can get him that will do it. There is also a product you can pour into their water that will help their teeth.

  • You can try Pedigree's Denta Stix (like treats) or Nylabones for the power chewers!

  • Having them chew on stuff helps break up the stuff on their teeth and gums. Our dog loves her Kong, and also the empty femer bones.

  • Rawhide, if your dog doesnt have a sensitive stomach, works well to clean out the dogs teeth... Also feeding kibble instead of wet food is a great way to keep teeth strong and healthy.

  • Raw bones are good for keeping teeth cleaned. Please do not buy into the myth that dry dog food keeps teeth clean. Think about it....when you eat cereal, chips, or other dry, crunchy food, do they keep your teeth clean?? lol

  • Hills Science Diet Oral Care dog food. My vet said to feed regular food, but to give a few kibbles of this food everyday as treats. It's supposed to break up in a way that it takes the tartar off your dog's teeth.
