  • my large breed dog, James, eats BLUE brand. we get it from Petsmart and Tractor Supply. He LOVES it and it keeps his weight under control. No fillers or animal bi-products like most of the name brand stuff.

  • My Jack Russell Terrier sheds a lot and we were told that corn can make him shed more than usual and to look for a brand that didn't have corn listed as one of the first 3 ingredients. We were on Pedigree at first and switched to Science Diet. It worked tremedously! He still sheds but not as much as we had to vacuum/lint off the carpets/furniture everyday!

  • Taste of the wild. Very good food. Can be bought at TSC. I won't feed lower grade foods. Not only do you pay more for a less superior product, but its not as healthy and most dogs have at least a mild allergic reaction to all the corn filler in the cheaper brands. www.dogfoodanalysis.com is a good website to check out. You feed less also if you go with a higher grade food.

  • I feed California Natural, made by the Natura brand. No fillers/corn/by-products, the best food on the market IMO! And you actually end up spending less than you would with one of the crappier foods, because you feed less of it. The lesser foods all have fillers and corn, which makes it more expensive too.
