food stages...i am confused at to what each food stage age is...

  • there is no hard core evidence that any one thing is better if you want to use mother nature as your guid3 after 6 months and when baby can sit up well for at least 15 minutes use babies pincar reflex to guide your food selection.. so start with a soft cooked pea (one at a time) a soft cooked piece of corn, anything soft and mushy in a tiny piece ONE AT A TIME-- start with fruits and veggies for like 3 months then add meat one type at a time so on and so forth just go slow incase something doesnt agree with him you'll know which one

  • also gerber has a color coded system that lets you know what ages their foods are appropriate for. just look at the back of one of their foods and it will show you the code you can look for something in that time frame.

  • the stages are pretty much the consistency of the food. stage 1 is pureed, stage 2 has some combos, and stage 3 is a litle chunkier. I found it easier and cheaper to make my own babyfood!

  • buy a box of baby oatmeal....it gives you the plan on the back with when to feed what stages
