Covering a Tattoo with Hair?

I'm starting a new job soon after 3 years of staying at home with my kids. It's a very laid back environment and they don't mind my 2 eyebrow rings or my 12 earrings being visible.

However all tattoos must be covered (there goes my wrist tattoos I wanting to get, lol) so I have to wear my hair down or in a pony tail at the nape of my neck so that my tattoo is covered. Anyone know of any cute things I can do to keep my hair out of my face and keep my tat covered?

  • Not trying to be rude or anything, but I know there are concealers out there I can use.

    What I'm looking for are ways to style my hair (either in a ponytail or with my hair down) that still covers the tattoo. Not how to hide with makeup.  I can do it just plain boring hairstyle like normal, but I want to spice it up a little.

  • When I first read your title, I was thinking, she wants to grow hair over her tattoo? Sorry, LOL...I see what youre saying. How about a cute head band. THat way your hair is still down but out of your face? Or you could pull the sides back and clip them together kinda like a hippy hairstyle. I have always had long hair so I have gotten creative. I dont put my hair up in the fall and winter but I do like to pull the sides back sometimes. I like your tattoo, its very creative. I m curious as to why they are okay with your piercings but not okay with your tat? I think the tat is much prettier to look at. Good luck on your new job!

  • Would a turtle neck sweater work for you? I'm kidding...I think the best thing to do it's what PP have said. Use make up to cover it.

  • LOL I was thinking topsy tails too. I do them for my daughter without the tools. She also likes doing a topsy tail on a half pony. Good luck at the new job:)
