Foundation question

I am fair skinned with freckles that are VERY prominent. I am using a coverup but just under my eyes since I had a redness under there for some reason. I am looking for a good coverup that wont make my freckles look all powdery. I have used covergirl freshlook. But is there another one I can use that will make my skin look smoother? I like a natural look :) Any suggestions are appreciated. Not looking to spend alot either, just stuff I can buy at my local walmart or CVS.

  • IMO, just about any brand's concealer will work, if used modestly and applied correctly/blended, not over-applied. people have the tendency to use too much concealer. if your skin is rough/dry, use moisturizer first, wait 5 minutes, then use concealer/makeup.if you're using concealer only under your eyes to reduce redness, try one of the colored concealers-i forget if its yellow or green that minimizes redness. also, if you need smoothing for your skin, you probably need to be using an exfoliator on regular basis, then moisturizer. you can always lessen the number of products used by purchasing a tinted moisturizer, instead of it and a makeup. ...since you like the natural look.

  • When I used to use foundation, I used the Covergirl base sticks. They cover everything really well && if you blend it right, it doesn't look like you have any on. Personally, I don't like liquid foundations, I can never get it to look natural && they don't cover anything up. I also brushed a very light coat of loose powder over it so it didn't look shiny.
