Home remedies for colds for a pre-schooler.

My son is congested and has a cough. No fever (thank goodness!) . He had 2 breathing treatments yesterday, but I want to knock this cold out. Most OTC meds are not recommended for kids under 4. Please help!

  • Regular saline spray will REALLY help his congestion. He may be coughing from post nasal drip so you may see that get better as well.

  • I used to put a little lemon juice in a couple tablespoons of honey and give them maybe a halt teaspoon of this. Soup and tea also help loosen congestion.
