I just got off pills so 2 or 3 days later I'm bleeding, would this be considered my 1st period(it seems like a regular period) and when does ovulation begin?

  • It's called break-through bleeding. When you're on the pill, you really aren't having any periods at all. It's all just break-through bleeding. It is your 7 day bleeding (or however long is normal for your body). Yu can expect a normal period a month later...

  • you should ovulate 14 days after the beginning of your period. So yes it's considered the first day of your period, count 14 days including the day you started your period, and that's ovulation time. There are tools out there to help you figure that out, try, and

  • It's not really considered breakthrough bleeding because you haven't missed a pill, or continued to take the pill, you're off it completely so it tells your body that you've finished that pack of pills and it's time for your period.
