Is it normal for a 16 month old to blow a whistle or is it above avergae?

I think it's amazing but I am his mommy...

  • u mean like whistle with their mouth?
    b/c if its with their mouth thats good, but I don't think its "above average." every child develops differently.
    but if its with a whistle, then thats so normal, my niece was doing that as soon as we taught her not to chew everything

  • lol my son can blow a whistle sometimes! he's 15 months old. i've taught him to blow on his food if it's too hot (i do it for him, but he does the blowing sound). same with blowing bubbles!

  • my son will be 1 this month and I just got him to blow a whistle, he prefers to chew it but sometimes he will blow.
