saleing a gold necklace

If i take a gold necklace to a pawn shop to try to sale it, how much do you think it would bring. ALl the commercials say gold is at a high right now. Does that include at pawn shops?

  • Nope - they still rip you off. My son pawed his gold watch (rather expensive watch with diamonds) and was given $8. I was so pissed - I went and got it back and just about rapped him on his head for being so stupid.

  • yeah they rip you off i had a watch that was worth 200 in weight (which is how they go by it) and i got ten bucks...but money was tight so i took it. be careful and go to more than one if you decide to go ahead and see who will give you the most....
