How can I get my 4 year old from punching her sister?

If her sister does not play with her, she starts hitting and punching and then they both get into it help

  • Have you just asked him why he feels he needs to hit her? and that hitting is not the right way to get attention or what you want. I have a 4 yr old that has 3 sisters. I tell him he needs to use his voice to get what he wants. If he does not stop and say he is sorry for hitting then he gets to sit on his bed.

  • i would put her in time out. i do 10 minitues for my son when he does something really bad (i would consider hitting really bad).
