ok so im 39 weeks pregnant i was told by soo many different people that since this is my first pregnancy i would most likely deliver 2 weeks sooner then expected im about to hit the 40 weeks and i havent felt nothing at all....will i ever start labor on my own or will they have to induce it????? im so anxious already every day seems like an eternity =[

  • naturally you WILL start labor on your own. you wont have that baby inside you forever.

  • Well you have to remember that your due date is just an educated guess. It's anywhere from 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after what they told you, so really you could have up to 2 weeks left. Just hang in there, I know the last month is like 9 months all over again, but it will happen before you know it! Walking is good exercise for you and helps in almost every aspect of labor, so try walking a lot. You could try having sex also, the sperm is said to help soften your cervix. Good luck!

  • well usually on your first baby you wont go early you will go 2 weeks late if anything idk who's telling you about going early they are lying to you lol gl

  • just remember you have until 42 weeks before the dr. can begin pushing you into induction (they are no fun..... and that is a proven fact. the contractions are more powerful and painful than naturally). but i think it is more likely that you will be later than early....... i can't think of anyone who went early with #1 (i'm talking normal pregnancy)
