How do you get lanolin out of clothes?

  • When I need to get something really greasy out of clothes I put dawn dishsoap on it and rub it in really good then I wash it. Sometimes you have to do that a couple of times

  • I would think pre-treating with dish soap might do the trick. I use Dawn dish soap to get chocolate and things like that out of clothes and it works great for that sort of thing. It's made to get grease off of dishes so it would probably work well.

  • Shout advanced works wonders on EVERYTHING I love the stuff! Should buy stock in it lol! I use it on all of my children's clothing, it has saved a tun of clothing.

  • Lanolin is soluble in HOT water. Is you can wash it on hot, it'll melt off.
