  • Just tell them to RSVP and if they don't then they shouldn't attend.

  • Your good friends should get their invites earlier so they could plan and your forgetful friends should get theirs 2 weeks ahead of time and an R.S.V.P. request. If they don't R.S.V.P. then a quick phone call should suffice.

  • I always do invites about 2-4 weeks before hand, so everyone has enough time to RSVP and make sure they have no other plans and what not. If they don't RSVP then they shouldn't just show and you may want to make that clear.

  • Depends on the time of year. Like, August and Sept and holday months are very busy for most people, so you might want to get them out early.

  • 4-6 weeks 4 weeks for people who live with in driving distance 5-6 weeks for those who have to travel. Ask for an RSVP 2 weeks before the event so there is time to call people if they do not RSVP

  • I think 2 wks minimum if everyone already knows about it. About a month if they don't, just in case.
