CDC or CDH? In home, or care center?

Military mommas, which do you prefer? Civilian mommas, daycare center or in home daycare?

Here's the situation, my three year old is in special ed preschool during the mornings and will be in daycare for about an hour before the bus picks her up and a few hours after. She had been occasionally going to a CDH (in home provider) who we both really like. We also have the ability to send her to the CDC (base daycare center). I know the in home provider is very kind, good with Grace, and she gets along well there. Plus, it might be nice for her to have a more relaxed afternoon (less structured) after preschool. However, the CDC would give her more typical developing peer interaction which would be very good for her, she would probably learn more (most of the kids at the in home place are young) and it is open two hours later for the same price (I will be in school online, so this is helpful).

So what do you think?

  • Also, she will adjust fine to new people, she's extremely friendly, so that's not an issue, and both follow the same licensing guidelines, pricing and rules.
