How many who receive Public Assistance or free Gov't insurance for their kids oppose healthcare reform?

I just don't understand this attitude:

  • The reason that man has medicare and is AGAINST this health care reform (which btw, is NOT free.. let up on that, please) is because in order for this to "work", they would need to cut BILLIONS of dollars from medicare, therefore in return hurt those who currently have it.

  • He is probably on Medicare because he is one of the millions, who lost their job that Oblahblah promised wouldn't happen.

  • Medicare is good right now! He is not hypocritical he is smart and knows he will not get the same care anymore if Obama has his way.

  • Yes, they would cut from Medicare FOR THE NEW PROGRAM. The new program would be like Medicare but not limited by age. We really like to pick and choose our info. It is astounding to me.

  • My point is that the same people who are more than willing to enroll in Government programs, are the same people who are so suspicious of one that is designed to insure them.

  • Medicare is going broke it is the same for social security.The government does a good job alright at running things into the ground.So lets hand them our healthcare too.Seems wise enough right?
