  • You can have bleeding like a period when you're pregnant. Although bleeding during pregnancy is not considered normal, it does happen to some women. When I was pg with my son I had a subchorionic hematoma (blood clot in the uterus that bleeds out) and I had bleeding equivalent to a period.

  • Not true to the last pp- Its NOT like a monthly cycle. because in order to have a monthly cycle the lining of your uterus would have to shead- This doesn't happen because the baby is IMPLANTED on that very lining- There has been many reports of bleeding through out pregnancy, and has become more commen, however its usually due to the cervix, if it should be bright red, and very heavy contact ur OB, if its just light spotting, its considered to be normal, but mention it at your next apt for further testing. Like the first poster said-it could be something a little more serious.
