My son is 2, should he be in a preschool yet?

  • No. I don't think so. Preschool is good when they can wipe their own butt. Not to seem unkind. Try 3..

  • preschool is usually 3-4. And most require the kids to be pottytrained.

  • That's up to you. My first child I kept home with me until he was 3 - I wish I had taken him earlier, maybe someone that works with kids full time would have caught his autism sooner. My 2nd and 3rd children I started 2 mornings a week when they were 2 and they loved it. I did it mainly for their socialization - they made some great friends to have playdates with and had a great time. My daughter still remembers and runs into her 2 yr preschool teacher - Ms. Kimber. Also, having some time to myself a couple mornings a week made me a better mom - I could get my errands and cleaning done during that time so I could play with them in the afternoons and on the other days of the week.
