At what point did you stop refering to your youngest child as "the baby"?

My twins are fast approaching two, and I still refer to them as "the babies" sometimes. They are my youngest and last children, so in a way they'll always be "the babies" to me.

When did/will you stop calling your baby the baby?

  • I think it's common that we never stop calling our little ones baby, no matter the fact that they are no longer little. Mine are 7 and 11, and I call them "baby" or "my baby" occasionally and they don't bat an eye. And they're both boys. And when they're older I'll still call them that even though it might embarass em... but I'm mom, I can get away with what I want. LOL

  • My Solomon is 7 years old and he is my baby! I also have an 19 year old brother who I call my baby.

If to you, they are your baby... then they are your baby forever.
