hcg levels still not at normal range

i had a miscarrage my hcg levels are at 40. do they have to be in normal range to get pregnant again?

  • I believe they need to go back down to zero. It took mine about 6 weeks to do that. If the miscarriage was after the first 5 or 6 weeks it can take a couple of months or longer.

  • I had a miscarriage recently too. Last week. My level was 162 then dropped to 94. This week its 45. They told me probably 2 more weeks before its zero. Hope that helps bit. Good luck.
