Overnight Daycare

I am starting about opeing an overnight daycare center and was wondering if there really is a market out there for that kind of service. If so what would be some of the things other moms would like to see it offer.

So far i have come up with:

Time of operation:

door open at 6 pm

pick up at 8 am

Max number of charges:

20 for babies 6 weeks to 2 years

20 for ages 4-9

Prices:

$80 for 6 weeks to 2 year

$75 for 2-4 years

$70 for 4-9 years

$25 for each hour past 8am

have story times

sleep overnight for older kids where they can bring their sleeping bags

offer light snack befor bed if need

have beds/ cribs s

  • I couldve used something like this for the transition of me going to work and my SO getting off. if you offer HOURLY care youll have a wider clientale. i ran into that problem MULTIPLE times, also being state certified and taking payments from DSS.

Just be clean have the older kids and infants seperated....and have help onhand for the middle of the night wake ups. this type of daycare wouldve been a godsend in my area!!! Kudos to you!!!!
