What could cause an 8-month-old to poop 7 times in one day?

And it is not diarrhea. What are some causes for MASSIVE, frequent poops?

  • A lot of food? The need to poop? It's funny, us moms count and analyze the poop. Dads just say EWWW and change it. :)

  • No eating habit changes, no sleep changes, no drink changes. Just 7 poops on Thursday, 5 the next, and 2 big ones this morning. It's, like, where the hell have you been storing this, girl!?

  • Wow, 8 months already.

They just poop a lot sometimes. My 7-year-old still pretty much poops every time he eats. I can't imagine having to poop that often, but he's happy, so I don't worry.
