  • Of course, that saves money. People need to wake up and realize the goal of the liberals in Washington. This isn't about the "people", this is about the bottom line. Just so happens, if they appear to care about "the people" they think they will win votes while pushing their liberal agenda. People are fools for believing in the government. If people want government care, they need to understand the parameters. When the parameters are vague, then be prepared.

  • We're not crazies. I read that bill two weeks ago and will be rereading it this week. There are a ton of loopholes and undefined things left up to an undefined group of people appointed by the president.all scary rumors aside, why aren't we afraid of that?these people are going to be able to decide what drugs are covered, etc, and while we all know we don't 'have' to have the feds plan, a lot of people are going to lose insurance because of the company tax. So we've got a bunch of vague language, no real answer as to coverage, and we are expecting the people who can't make a delivery system profitable to make our health care decisions. When it's all said and done they will be paying the people who answer the phone at the insurance exchange more than the docs.

  • Our current hcs denies pts needed treatments including medications everyday. Don't be naive-

To all you ppl who spew the, "We're broke line or ppl need to learn to take care of themselves", what is YOUR solution to this 4, 000/month for 1 medication problem?

Everyone can not have everything they want or maybe even NEED if $$$ is such an issue.

Where's special? What would her mom have done? Take on a 4th job perhaps? All the while fighting terminal lung CA.

Which way is it, ppl? Or are YOU cherry picking again?

  • And of course private health insurance would never dream of denying a patient treatment. Get real! Unless you're paying out of your own pocket and have mighty deep pockets there will always be restrictions on what treatments you can receive.

I would like to know why you feel the need to attack my Mom. You aren't fit to scrub her floors. She was a hardworking loving mother that did the best she could for her girls WITHOUT the help of the government. And YES, my Mom would have taken a 4th job if we needed more.

EXACTLY RHONDA- AND I CAN PRETTY MUCH GUARANTEE THAT FEW HERE COULD HANDLE $4000/month for 1 medication, in what I'm sure is a cocktail of meds-

How can ppl be so ignorant about our current system, and think anyone is going to take their protest against reform seriously?
