Does anyone have...?

Does anyone have a recipe for pumpkin cake? I am craving it so bad since I have been pregnant and my birthday is coming up so I would like to have that.

  • I know that if you get a white or vanilla box mix you can put canned pumpkin to replace some or all or the oil and if you don't get the already spiced pumpkin you can buy pumpkin pie spice in a jar from McCormick. Not really "home made" but it is just as good.

  • OR you can try to find a "pie pumpkin" (they are smaller and taste better) and you take the seeds out and just stick in in your oven till it's mushy...... that would be to replace the canned pumpkin and you would need to find the pie spice. It may be slightly healthier, not sure, but cake it's self isn't too healthy to begin with.
