  • My mother used to tell me, if you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all. I think that saying applies to my post, and probably marriage too.

  • That marriage is a full time job, it takes lots of hard work to make things run smoothly sometimes. Marriage is full of compromise.

  • Good luck and congratulations! Other than that, don't worry about the small stuff. In the long run, no one will remember if string beans were served instead of corn, or if your bridesmaids' shoes were all dyed slightly different shades of pink. Just enjoy yourself!

  • Congratulations!! Don't drink too much:) Be aware of your posture in photographs, no slouching. Always remember to look at him like a piece of meat when he's getting dressed.

  • Congrats! I'm sure you will have a wonderful day.

There will be the good times and the bad times But just think that your love and relationship is strong and you can make it throw all of these times and when you have a blow out fight you will most likely be laughing about it a week. Remember good, bad,for sickness and death your love is forever. God bless you and your family.

  • Congratulations and best of luck to you!

Let's see. Advice for a newlywed. Remember the song that has the words "Wives should always be lovers, too." This is true. Always treat him as though he is the most important guy in your life. As far as arguments, pick your battles. Most things you can choose not to argue about, but if you do find yourself in an argument, make sure there are rules that you both follow: No name calling, stick to the point- no dredging up past wrongs, no personal attacks.

Remember that he is part of you, and he is trusting you to treat him right, so treat him with love and respect, and expect the same from him.

  • Make sure you are really ready. If you that deep conscience saying no, then listen to it.

    Pick your battles.
    Love unconditionally.
Remember, woman ARE NOT the only ones who are supposed to do house keeping. :D
But if your a SAHM or just work part time.... then make sure the dishes are done and toys picked up when he gets home :)
    Make dreams together.
Set goals. Achieve those goals together!
Kiss each other good night no matter what every night before bed. Tell each other you love each other. No matter how big the fight.
Marriage is about sacrifice. Always remember that.
Let the past be the past.
And dates are still important :)
