Fast-forward this 2006 left-wing video of Nancy Pelosi at a San Francisco anti-war forum to 3:48, when hard Leftists start shouting and disrupting.
The moderator tries to discourage a shouting match.
Pelosi cuts off the moderator and encourages her hecklers chanting “NO MORE WAR:”
Pelosi: “I appreciate that. I appreciate that you as advocates can say that. That’s okay. That’s okay.”
At 4:50, a group of disrupters march up to the stage and stand at her feet with protest signs.
Pelosi greets and applauds them.
At 5:40, the crowd erupts and the shouts continue.
Sooooooooo, This dissent is patriotic?
I read this on www.michellemalkin.com and find it interesting. Pelosi is a hypocrite. Liberal Leaders in Washington are hypocrites!

They are a bunch of hypocrites! And COMPLETELY thrown off by the right using the same tactics to get their voice heard. the right usually just sits back and hopes that good sense will out...it's not happening. And all the left leaning comentators and the Pelosi/Reid/lee people, and the PRESIDENT... don't seem to get that this is about more than healthcare and pissing off more than just repubs!!

I found this article... The House's top two Democrats said Monday that some of the behavior of health care overhaul opponents is “simply un-American.” Protesters have disrupted town-hall meetings held by lawmakers, in some cases shouting down speakers at the events. “These disruptions are occurring because opponents are afraid not just of differing views — but of the facts themselves,” Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer of Maryland said. “Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American.”
WOW, it wasn't Un-American in 2006, Nancy!! When your anti-war protesters carried nazi signs, disrupted speaking engagements..... The hypocrisy is so funny, I had to post it on my journal

Dissent is only OK to Libs if the person is anti war, anti troop, anti life and pro global warming. Otherwise you are a right wing nutcase that is evil and should be on a watch list.lol Christians are on the list too you know we are nuts also.

I think they just aren't used to conservatives using their voice so loud. It isn't often that the right comes out to protest something. They are much more likely to utilize the phone and to send letters to their elected officials. Problem is, they aren't listening anymore and the only way to make sure they know how you feel is to show up at a town hall meeting and say it out loud in front of others that feel the same way. This is what they get for ignoring a huge number of your constituency on such large and expensive issues.
Oh, and yes, there seems to be a HUGE double standard when it comes to the Dem. party. What's good for the goose and all.
