i have a great milk supply but when i need to pump...

my left boob is amazing at extracting milk from it, but my right one i am lucky if i get half an oz out of it... whats the deal? when she eats off my right one she gets milk out of it i can tell because i hear her swallowing, but not when i pump....

  • pumps are never as good as the baby. I'd also suggest try pumping by hand -- better than any pump b/c you can feel where the milk is and can get it out better.

  • i only pump when i have to work which is only 3 hours aday lol but yeah.. ill try it by hand.. i could see how it could work better thanks for the advice! :)

  • i dont respond well to pumps either :( some woman just cant pump much
