are u suppose to go in or call if u have more then 3 braxton hicks contractions in a hour?? just curious..i saw a mom on here say that.. thanks

  • nope. not until the contractions are consistant and under 5 minutes apart, unless otherwise told by a doctor

  • my dr always said more than 5. i was monitored at 27 and 31 weeks for contractions. they didnt show up but at 34 weeks i was 4cm dialated and having steady contractions and had my son at 35 weeks.

  • Do you mean at-term or preterm?
    If you're healthy and due then you can have 20 in an hour.... it all varies.

  • No, it's 10 contractions in an hour. If you've been having trouble during your pregnancy, them sometimes doctors will tell you to call in if you have 6 in an hour.
