Does your newborn head butt you?

My one month old son does this head bobbing thing and every once in a while he catches me off guard and head butts me. Normally I find it hilarious but he just cracked my lip open with his little noggin!

  • Yep - he used to do it all the time while he was learning head support. Kind of wobble, and bust me in my face.

  • Yep! both my sons did it, my doc would call my first son ''little goat''
(cause baby goats do that to their mom to get the milk)

  • yes and my jaw is sore to prove it. it's worse when he hits me full on in the mouth, i think my teeth are going to fall out, and my husband's concern is his head rather than my mouth :)

  • Yup - mine did it when she was hungry the first month or so and then she started doing it when she had to burp. So funny. =) Sorry about your lip.
