  • A homeschooler should really have better research skills than this...

  • Call your local school district. That is usually where you mail letters of intent but since I'm not in NY I'm not sure about that state.

  • Send your kids to school so that they can get a real education

  • If you're homeschooling you should be able to figure that out on your own.

These home school regulations require parents to do the following:

    a. submit a notice of intent to home school to the district superintendent by July 1 (the beginning of the school year) annually, or within fourteen days of starting home schooling during the middle of a school year.

Oh yeah, and ignore the ignorant remarks from the obvious uneducated previous posters :) Your kids probably already know more than they do. You should really join one of the homeschool groups on cafemom, they will be much more helpful then these poor excuses for human beings. It's ashame no one can ever ask a question on here without being ridiculed.

  • Keep your kids at home so that you can teach them manners, compassion, understanding, tolerance and just plain decency!

I agree with this sentiment. Some posters on here are obviously poorly socialized,  judging by their responses.  I'm sure you can do better.
