please help!!

i have a really bad headache and im pregnant so i can only take tylenol but all we have is advil, except i found 2 pills in an unmarked bottle. i tried pillfinder and other sites but i cant seem to find out what it is but i think its tylenol. i know it is an OTC. it is a red oblong pill imprinted with "8 hour" does anybody know if this is tylenol?

  • dont take anything if you dont know what it is just go to the store and get some tylonal or try laying down with your eyes closed take a nap or something

  • dont know, but it sounds like ibuprofin to me since it's 8hr. I would NOT take it if i were you. Is there anyway you can get some tylenol from the store?

  • Sounds like the excedrine tension headache I used to take, but I agree, if you don't know what it is, don't take it

  • No even if it was Tylenol, I would suggest other alternatives.
    First try a LOT! of water. Eat a healthy, calorie-rich snack, rest. You might try a bath/shower, some aromatherapy (if you have some lavender, for example).
    See what re-hydrating might do for you before anything.

  • There is a tylenol 8 hour formula, but it isn't worth the risk of taking a pill of uncertain origin - especially when you are pregnant. Can you call a friend and ask them to drop some tylenol by? Can you walk to a store? Otherwise, drink plenty, have a snack, apply a warn / cold compress to your forehead or base of your skull, try a shower or bath (cool for migraines, warm for tension headaches), and (if you are not watching any other kids) try to relax and maybe take a nap.
