WALMART has pulled its advertising from Glenn Beck! Will you boycott?

Will conservatives be able to boycott Wal-Mart?

Interesting side note: my husband works at their home office IT center (tech support), and Fox News is the only channel that ever plays on the break room TV.

  • Yep, already have. I called and cancelled my insurance policy with State Farm too. We've been with them for almost 30 yrs, but if they're going to try to penalize GB, I don't want to do business with them. I've also started shopping at Whole Foods Grocers. I'd love to see this stunt backfire on the advertisers. There's more Republicans and Libertarians than there are liberal Dems, so we can make this happen.

  • If people boycott WalMart for pulling ads for Glenn Beck, then it truly is a sad society we live in b/c people won't boycott them for not paying a living wage, buying from 3rd world countries using slave labor, not offering well baby insurance, not letting employees work a full 40 hours so they can get insurance, mistreatment of women and minorities, and the list goes on.

I will be disgusted if anyone boycotts WM b/c of this jackass on TV.

  • I'm lost...what happened?

  • I've emailed all the companies who have pulled advertising and told them that I will definitely remain a loyal customer, or start being one. Except of course for all the insurance companies, I can only have insurance with one company. I have emailed the others and given my support, though.

  • Heck no, we have a brand new Super Wal Mart opening on the 19th and I am going to be there. I normally don't shop at Wal Mart, but now I think I have a reason. And Best Buy..And I think I will get my prescriptions refilled at CVS now since they also pulled advertising.
