  • Watching liberals (folks characterizing themselves as liberals) on TV, or reading their articles, I find that noone can get them to really REASON. They cite axioms - "if you aren't for this health care bill, then you are against poor people having access to health care" - and sit back confident that they have proved their point.

Humans have something called a SELF. Self-mastery is when one's ego is in control, and thinking is free from being colored by sympathy or antipathy. All fanaticism lacks this self-control; it revels in whipping up sympathies and antipathies into a frenzy.

Liberals are amazingly "Group-Think". Anyone who disobeys their revered axioms is assaulted with the same fervor suffered by heretics of old.

Probably this is because the liberal axioms are inculcated throughout their years of schooling from Kg up through graduate school, by our education which has become increasingly progressive since 1950s

  • Elitist take pride in the intelligence of their group and now that democrats are more popular there will be outcry from the right. Liberals exercised their right to protest ,as are now the republicans. Some liberal groups are elitist because they want pluralism but Obama wants bi partisan, so he is not considered elitist.

Sorry but that is the funniest comment I have heard all day. Obama is very much an elitist. He does not want us to be bi partisan. He looks down on anyone with a differing view than him. Democrats claim they are the party of tolerance yet I find most to be very intolerant and more bigoted than those they attack and look down on.
