  • I knew a little girl with that name. People always wondered why her mom gave her a "black" name. Who knows, some names just sound that way even though people of different races have those names.

  • No, but it could sound AA, depends on how you pronouce it. I know if you say it like Danika the race car driver then no; but if you pronounce it DaNEEKA or DanNIKA then yep.

  • I knew a girl in HS named "Deidra" and she was the whitest white girl ever. I always thought her name was ironic of her.

  • Me and my BFF met a guy, shook his hand and all and when he told us his name we both looked at each other and burst out laughing. Poor guy he thought he'd done something until we told him we'd never thought we would ever meet a white guy named Tyrone. We laughed and asked him did he have a sister name LaKeshia?? He laughed and said no, but Tamika. We almost choked on our soda.

Names have no color attachement. Although I've yet to meet a white girl with my name La Toya.
