Sperm travel?

I know this sounds so dumb, especially considering I have one child already, but I'm still curious. With my first child, we weren't trying to conceive. We had a failure in BC (my fault- I forgot that antibiotics make BC go kaput) and conceived my daughter. Now we're actually trying to conceive, and I'm just wondering how much sperm actually travels into the cervix. It seems like after sex, all of it drips back out. So how much is really getting up there?

  • Not sure about that but when we were ttc I always held my butt up in the air so gravity could help all the swimmers get where they needed to be!

  • Men have millions of sperm cells. Some tips when TTC:

Do not allow him to pull out right away
Lay on your back with you hips elavated for 20-30 min.
Missonary is best position, female on top has gravity working against you.
