So they come in pairs?

This is for those who are scared about people showing their right to carry their guns.
Where you afraid when the New Black Panthers stood outside of a polling place with billy clubs?

  • that and black people have only been afforded voting protections (15th amendment) for about 45 years---they could have been stripped of their protections at any moment which may have required brute force by the Black Panthers--they needed to be sure their man obama got elected!

  • I'm guessing getting beaten with a club is somehow less painful and deadly than getting shot. No?

  • What the black panther party did was wrong too. That is why they were brought up on charges of voter intimidation. The only people that say the charges were dropped are blogs and biased articles. Until the DOJ updates their file on the case, I will reserve comment on their punishment. Only saying that the evidence was limited.

In the case of people toting  hand guns and automatic weapons to rallies and town halls. Those people pose not only a danger to others, but to themselves as well. You don't think an automatic weapon hanging off the shoulder of a person who may or may not be qualified/trained to use it in a CROWD of people is a danger? The person armed might not be crazy, but someone not of right mind can come up, take that gun away and start firing on innocent people.

  • Not to mention the guy with the gun strapped to his leg, wearing the SAME saying on his shirt that TIMOTHY MCVEIGH was wearing the day he bombed the Murrah building,

You people need to take off your partisan binders and see this stuff for what it is before someone gets hurt.

so because Timothy McVeigh liked that quote no one else is to actually use it for what it REALLY means? That is pretty stupid.
Oh yeah biased cause FOX news reported the panthers charges being dropped. Pathetic.
    ___________
I think it if so funny you guys are so afraid of guns. The man was permitted that means he has a licensed to carry an AR 15. I don't know about you but I don't know of one person crazy enough to dare try to snatch an assault riffle off a guy that would be pretty dumb. Oh and there is no proof the gun was even loaded.

  • Anon :47 thou doth protest too much..Who said anything about Fox news? No one.

Who said anything about being scared of guns? No one. Its about minimizing risks.

And, no the use of the quote doesn't automatically make someone a quack, but you have to look at the whole picture.  You don't know that man's frame of mind, so don't pretend that you do.

Also an assault weapon is not just a "gun".
