Do you think the name "Robin" is nice for a girl, or should it only be used for boys?

  • I used to love this name for girls (until I met a Robin that I can't stand, you know how that works). I think it's sort of become more of a girls name now. I think I'd me more inclined to use it on a girl than on a boy.

  • Personally, I prefer traditional yet underused names with traditional spellings--they're what is "unique" nowadays!! As for the name Robin...I do like it for a girl, and you could spell it as you indicated or as "Robyn."

  • I've never heard of a male named robin. Well okay once but its a fictional character (robinhood men in tights).. I think its pretty for a girls name

  • The girl across the street is named Robyn. Personally, I've never known any males with the name buy I like it for both.
