Whats on your WIC voucher?

I get a month:
4 gallons of milk
4 juices
2 dozen eggs

pediasure(by perscription)
It's gonna change soon to where I get 2 less milks and juices and get $6 worth of fresh fruits or veggies. I'm so excited about the fresh foods!

  • yes, the change is in october. however, the state i am in isn't doing the same as the state i am from. weird. my best friend works with infant stimulation, so i know what the changes are. what i do not understand is why some states change things and not all......

  • I havent had WIC in a LONG time, but when I did, I think I just had the formula and then after a year, I could have gone back to get the milk, ect...but my son wouldnt drink it so I didnt bother. It wasnt enough to really make a difference for us since we dont eat a lot of dairy products. I kept the little booger on formula until he was 16 mos because he wouldnt drink the milk.....still wont. I guess he really doesnt like it.

  • I get 3 checks.
*2* cans of Good Start 2(the big cans)
    *3* cans of the formula
I don't know the exact amount on the check but it gets me 3 small boxes of baby cereal and *15* 4oz gerber juices

I don't know why they don't just put 5 formulas on 1 check

Baby is 1 on monday so we will be getting other stuff at the end of september

  • You can get the Good Start 2 on WIC? I've been looking at those and was thinking of trying them.

  • I had to get a doctor note to get the Good Start 2. They will give regular good start and then milk after 12 months if your doctor doesn't say the baby needs it.
