  • how old? newborn? Try gas drops, gripe water, movement, bouncing on your shoulder, a swing, a bouncer, something on an incline, a car ride, hanging out with mom in the snugli. Often times issues with newborns start out as a little gas, they get upset about it, then they get hungry but they're too upset to eat and it escalates and then baby is overly tired and it the list goes on and on and on.

  • Hot as it is, try to find a light blanket to wrap her in: it comforts them. Rock her or hold her until she falls asleep and try to lay her down. It takes practice to do this without waking again. When she is old enough to sleep through the night (without eating) is soon enough to work on not picking her up when she's crying. If she's still little holding her won't ruin her, and will comfort her a lot.

  • does she have reflux? I would find out because it tends to act up when they lay flat. talk to your dr. about getting an upper gi :)

  • If you're BF than it may be something you're eating that is bothering her or maybe she is on the wrong formula or maybe she isn't eating enough. However I would take her to the ped.
