How long dog round worm eggs can stay in soil?

one month after I got my puppy I took him to Dr, and he said puppy has round worms. we never picked his poops form yard before. so all over our yard is full of round worm eggs. I scared to take my one year old to the yard. What should I do?

  • They can survive for a few months. As long as your DD is practicing good hygiene there is not to much to worry about. Make sure he is wearing shoes and shoes are removed at the door. Washing hands after coming inside and before eating. even if he did come in contact with the poop chances are his body would be able to fight it off. I am NOT saying there is no risk just that the risk can be controlled.
