I know they are a starch, but do they also still count as a vegetable? Just a random thought that popped into my head...

  • not at my house..my dd has to pick 2 fruits or veggies to go with dinner so she could pick peas and pears, or 2 veggies, or 2 fruits...potatos dont count as a veggie for dinner IMO

  • They are a stratchy veggie and if prepared baked or broiled they are a great way to get vitamins like potassium, iron, vitaminA, are just some of the nutrients they have.
