diet question

has anyone done a soup diet? did it work for you? how much weight did you lose.

  • Not sure which soup diet you're talking about but my hubby and I did it. He lost 20 lbs. and I lost 10. I'm diabetic and have to eat a bit differently than the diet called for. What we DID notice is that during the middle of flu season we didn't even get the sniffles!

    The soup we used is FULL of vitamins and antioxidants:
    2 lb. bag of carrots, peeled & sliced
    2 large green peppers, diced
    1 bunch celery, sliced or diced
    3 large bunches of green onions, sliced
    Put in a large soup pot and just cover with water. Bring to a boil and boil 10 minutes until veggies get tender. Add:
    1 - 2 cans stewed tomatoes
    2 cans green beans
    1 pkg. Lipton chicken noodle soup mix
    1 large can beef or chicken broth
    season to taste with salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, whatever your taste buds desire.
    Heat to boiling. Keep leftovers refrigerated.

  • i did for 2 months and lost 25 pounds i always got the soups in can at the store then i found out i was pregnant
