I guess I am not surprised. Did you see this?

Here is a snippet cut and paste for the whole story.

Obama Underwrites Offshore Drilling

You read that headline correctly. Unfortunately, the Obama Administration is financing oil exploration off Brazil.

The U.S. is going to lend billions of dollars to Brazil's state-owned oil company, Petrobras, to finance exploration of the huge offshore discovery in Brazil's Tupi oil field in the Santos Basin near Rio de Janeiro. Brazil's planning minister confirmed that White House National Security Adviser James Jones met this month with Brazilian officials to talk about the loan.

No drilling allowed here but we can offer up 2 billion to Brazil (so they will like Obama)

The bankroller for, ACORN, the Obama campaigns, etc. etc. George Soros.

Not only is that a fat F'ING lie, it is also  a commonly held misconception held by Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck viewers

  • Well, if it is a lie, I'll be glad of it ... I wonder how I can research that? Any suggestions on how to track down Soros' businesses and the donations they make to the many progressive activist organizations? ... Hmmm ...

Answer by waldorfmom at 6:55 PM on Aug. 19, 2009

  • We can't get our own asses out of debt, we can't fund our own companies or drill more on our own soil - but we can do it for a company, owned by the man [in another country] who largely helped finance Obama's campaign? Wow.... and you all call us Paranoid Conservatives hypocrites for wanting healthcare reform - just not your Democrats reform. Hmmmm.... I voted for the man who said "drill at home and cut dependence on foreign oil" "invest at home and sell abroad" - yet I'm the idiot. YES WE CAN'T.

  • Here:
Associated Press announced it will distribute "watchdog and investigative journalism" penned not by its own staff, but by four outside groups: the Center for Investigative Reporting in Berkeley, Calif.; New York-based ProPublica; and in DC, the Center for Public Integrity (CPI) and the Investigative Reporting Workshop at American University.
AP identified the four organizations as "civic-minded". They also have decidedly liberal sponsors. A glance at these "independent" news shops reveals their reliance on left-tilting patrons such as the Knight Foundation, financier Herbert Sandler and currency speculator George Soros.
Sandler, founder of ProPublica, is a generous giver to Democratic candidates and left-wing causes, i.e. the Center for American Progress, and ACORN the ethically-challenged radical action group. Soros, an early backer of the radical, poured tens of millions into attacks on President GW Bush

  • Wow! I am utterly surprized and shocked.
Imagine the nerd doing something for this country again?
Wonder if all the obama morons are still chanting the golden boy chants.
Probably since most are still blinded by the brillant light that halos his alien head.
