  • In this article, Stern (head of the S.E.I.U.) says that if the health care bill fails, then the Republicans will successfully block everything else from here on out.

Is he kidding?? Or is he trying to increase the pressure on passing this health care bill which is extremely favorable to his power??

Until we have another election, the simple numbers of Democrats & Republicans in the House and in the Senate are not changing, so his comment lacks reason.

And AT the next election, any Democrats that DO get voted out of office, or Conservatives who get voted in, will NOT be due to a health care bill's outcome. Dems' blatant disregard for the independence of citizens has already awakened us to the dangers of putting Progressives into positions where they can detour law and Constitution.

Their actions in the PAST 7 months are enough to change voters' decisions. Health Care and the upcoming Energy bill will just be more.
